The customer’s production base is located in the High-Tech Development Zone of Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province, approximately one hour’s drive from Guangzhou. The new plant covers 142 mu and has received an investment of nearly RMB 500 million. It was designed and built to high standards by a team of domestic and international experts, incorporating advanced equipment and technologies from Novozymes and other leading suppliers, thereby achieving significant advantages in both quality and cost. The facility has an annual capacity of 480,000 tons of starch‑sugar products, including glucose syrup, maltose syrup, brewing‑grade syrup, F‑42 fructose‑glucose syrup, F‑55 fructose‑glucose syrup, sorbitol, and more. It is currently the largest and most technologically advanced starch‑sugar producer in South China.

The production process of fructose‑glucose syrup involves several steps, including mixing, heating, filtration, and concentration. First, fruits are combined with glucose, and the mixture is heated to a specific temperature. The purpose of heating is to dissolve the fructose and glucose from the fruit in water, forming a syrup. The temperature and duration of heating depend on the type and content of the raw materials; typically, this occurs at around 80°C. Next, the syrup is filtered to remove impurities and solid particles. Filtration can be carried out using filter paper, mesh screens, or centrifugal equipment. The resulting syrup is clear and free of contaminants. Finally, the syrup is concentrated to a desired solids content. Concentration increases the syrup’s sweetness and viscosity; this step is performed using vacuum concentrators or evaporators. The finished fructose‑glucose syrup can then be used directly or packaged for sale.
