Product Introduction

Dynamic washing tanks are primarily used to load adsorbents such as diatomaceous earth and white clay, enabling the adsorption and washing of process materials. Our company’s washing tanks allow for direct in‑tank cleaning and regeneration without the need for frequent disassembly and rinsing of the adsorbent. They can also be employed in a variety of pharmaceutical and industrial processes, including atmospheric‑ and low‑pressure water decoction, warm soaking, hot reflux, forced circulation, percolation, aromatic oil extraction, and organic solvent recovery.

Accessory components

Function 1: Fills with adsorbents such as diatomaceous earth and white clay to adsorb and wash the material.

The entire extraction process in the dynamic washing tank is carried out within a closed, recirculating system, enabling both atmospheric-pressure and low-pressure extraction. Depending on the application—whether for water extraction, alcohol extraction, oil recovery, or other purposes—the specific process parameters are determined by the customer based on the pharmacological properties of the target compound.

1. Water extraction: Water and the traditional Chinese medicine are loaded into the extraction vessel according to a specified process ratio. The jacketed heating source is then activated; once the contents in the vessel reach boiling, the heat supply is reduced to maintain gentle simmering. The extraction is carried out for an appropriate duration based on the pharmacological extraction protocol, ensuring that the active constituents of the herbal material or sliced herbs are fully dissolved in water.

2. Alcohol Extraction: First, the medicinal materials and alcohol are added to the vessel according to a specified process ratio, and the system is sealed. A jacketed heating source is applied; once the vessel reaches the required temperature, the heat supply is reduced to maintain that temperature for a set period, ensuring that the active constituents of the traditional Chinese medicine or herbal slices are fully dissolved into the alcohol. The vaporized alcohol is condensed in a condenser, converted back into liquid form, and returned to the storage tank for subsequent distillation and purification. To enhance efficiency, a pump can be used for forced circulation, drawing the extract from the bottom of the vessel and recirculating it back into the vessel through an upper inlet.

3. Oil Extraction: First, the traditional Chinese medicine containing volatile oils and water are added to the extraction vessel according to a specified process ratio. Steam is introduced into the jacketed heating system; once the desired volatilization temperature is reached, the steam flow rate is adjusted and the internal temperature is maintained for a prescribed duration. The evaporated aromatic oils are then cooled via a cooling system, and the cooled herbal extract is separated using an oil–water separator.
