Product Introduction
A V‑type mixer is equipment used to blend two or more powdered or granular materials. It features a simple structure, ease of operation, convenient maintenance and cleaning, and excellent mixing performance.
Working principle
A V‑shaped mixer consists of two cylindrical vessels welded together in a V configuration, with the vessel geometry being asymmetrical about the axis. Due to rotational motion, powder particles within the inclined cylinders undergo continuous, alternating cycles of shearing, fragmentation, and recombination. The material is randomly transferred from one section of the V‑shaped chamber to another, while interparticle slippage occurs, leading to multiple spatial superpositions. Particles progressively distribute themselves over newly exposed surfaces. This repeated shearing and diffusive motion ultimately achieves the desired mixing effect.
Product Applications
V‑type mixers are widely used for blending powdered or granular materials in industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, animal feed, ceramics, and metallurgy.
