Product Details
Product Introduction
A laboratory vacuum emulsifier is primarily used to uniformly disperse one or more phases into a continuous phase under vacuum conditions. By harnessing the powerful kinetic energy generated by mechanical action, the material is subjected to hundreds of thousands of hydraulic shear cycles per minute within the narrow gap between the stator and rotor. Through a combination of centrifugal forces, extrusion, impact, and shear, the mixture is instantaneously and evenly dispersed and emulsified. After repeated high‑frequency cycling, the final product is free of air bubbles, finely textured, and highly stable.
Working principle
After the materials undergo preliminary mixing and dispersion in the pre‑treatment tank through heating and stirring, they are drawn into the emulsification tank by the negative pressure generated by the vacuum pump. Inside the emulsification tank, the combined action of a scraper‑type agitator and a high‑shear homogenizer subjects the material to a complex sequence of processes—including agitation, shearing, impact, and compression—rapidly breaking it down into micro‑droplets ranging from 200 nm to 2 µm, thereby establishing a stable emulsion. During this process, the wall‑scraping blades made of polytetrafluoroethylene remain in close contact with the tank wall, swiftly removing adhering material and continuously renewing the interface between the product and the vessel wall. This not only enhances heat‑transfer efficiency but also ensures the uniformity of highly viscous materials within the tank. Meanwhile, the equipment’s high‑vacuum system rapidly evacuates entrapped air during preparation, preventing oxidation or contamination caused by bubbles in the final product; moreover, the defoamed material exhibits improved gloss and ductility.
Product Features
1. The emulsification kettle lid of the high-shear vacuum homogenizing emulsifier is automatically liftable and lowerable, and the main vessel can be tipped over for dumping.
2. The emulsification tank is equipped with a high-shear homogenizer and a counter-rotating wall-scraping agitator.
3. Equipped with two pre-treatment tanks: one for the aqueous phase and one for the oil phase.
4. The pre-treatment tank is equipped with a high-speed dispersion system.
5. Equipped with a vacuum system, the material in the pre‑treatment tank can be drawn into the emulsification tank via a suction line under negative pressure.
6. The inner surface of the emulsification tank is mirror-polished, meeting hygienic-grade requirements.
7. The system employs a sandwich-type electric heating method, ensuring uniform heat transfer and high temperature control accuracy; it can also be connected to cooling water or coolant for cooling.
8. It employs push-button or PLC control, which is simple, intuitive, and easy to operate.
Product Applications
Laboratory vacuum emulsifiers are widely used in the personal care, biopharmaceutical, and food industries, and are particularly effective for emulsifying and formulating materials with high matrix viscosity and elevated solid content.
