Product Introduction
The CIP cleaning system is an in‑situ cleaning system used in food and beverage plants. After use, food‑processing equipment—particularly dairy‑processing machinery and pipelines—tends to accumulate deposits; if these are not removed promptly and thoroughly, product quality can be adversely affected. CIP (Cleaning In Place) refers to an in‑situ cleaning process that enables the entire production line to undergo cyclic washing and disinfection within a closed loop, without the need for manual disassembly or opening. It is an ideal method for cleaning equipment and pipelines and has been widely adopted in the food industry, especially in the dairy sector, where it has now been fully automated. Since milk itself is highly nutritious yet extremely susceptible to contamination and spoilage, proper cleaning is one of the most critical steps in dairy processing and a prerequisite for producing compliant, high‑quality products.
Product Structure
The dual-tank, split-type CIP cleaning system consists of an alkaline tank, a hot-water tank, a discharge pump, and various valves, cleaning nozzles, and cleaning pipelines.
Working principle
During system operation, the cleaning solution is pumped into the pipelines and equipment to be cleaned according to a pre‑set program, and the spent cleaning fluid is then drawn back into the cleaning‑solution storage tank by a self‑priming pump. Throughout the cleaning process, the concentration of the cleaning solution becomes diluted; the cleaning‑solution replenishment system can be used to add an appropriately concentrated medium, thereby adjusting the solution’s concentration.
